March 12, 2010: UALR presents Visiting Artist Elizabeth Brim with a free public demonstration of her work in STEEL INFLATION, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the UALR Art Building, Room 153. A copy of the flyer with details of this event is available at Elizabeth Brim.

March 30 and 31, 2010: UALR and the Woodworkers Association of Arkansas present a Public Lecture and a series of  four Demonstrations by visiting wood turning artist Michael Hosaluk. The lecture and demonstrations will be in the UALR Furniture Design Studios, located in the UP Campus (same location as the WAA meetings). March 8, 2010: Registration begins for the Spring Quarter at the Arkansas Arts Center Museum School, which includes several Woodworking Classes, under the direction of  Earl Magnuson, WAA member and 2010 Vice President; and a special Wood Turning Workshop by WAA’s Kim Fifer on April 16 and 17, 2010. The Class Schedule may be accessed at The Museum School Schedule. The Woodworking Classes are found on page 5 of the Schedule. You also may call the Museum School at 501-396-0353.
